ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hello, I'm Eric, aka Superfinity in the artist community. I have a Chinese background and grew up in Australia, the lucky country. My passion for art sparked early in childhood, as I spent my time filling exercise books with drawings. As I grew up, I became a self-taught Photoshop enthusiast and pursued a degree in Graphic Design. I also discovered 3D visual creation, diving deep into textbooks and DVD tutorials to master the technical aspects.

After graduating, I began my career as a graphic designer at a pay TV station before moving into the cinema industry, where I designed digital marketing materials for movies. After a few years, I made the bold decision to move to Japan Tokyo, where I lived and worked for a year. Captivated by its vibrant anime, tech, and art scenes, my time there remains one of the highlights of my life. I had hoped to stay longer with an approved visa extension, but when my father's health took an unexpected turn, it was natural for me to drop everything and return to Australia.

Not sure what to do next, I pursued a Master's in Animation. After graduating, I worked as a freelance 3D generalist on TV commercials for several small post production studios. During my downtime, I was also developing my Little Teo project. Later, I joined a small design studio, working full-time as a Senior Digital Designer, focusing on branding projects for a major international fitness tech client across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

After five years in this position, my boss decided to retire and close the studio. Just a few weeks later, the pandemic hit. With limited work opportunities, I began exploring NFT art as a new path. With no prior experience, I dove into digital WEB3 space, watching countless tutorials and developing my own unique projects. This is when Cutie Quirks, Mini Machines and Odd Eggs was created. Through this journey, I also met a great community of friends. Now, I create art that reflects my journey and creativity.

Currently, I'm expanding on the designs I started in NFTs, venturing into the world of physical figurines, and growing my brand as an artist while learning the ins and outs of business. I handle everything from concept creation, graphic art to 3D character design and am also exploring new technologies like NFTs, AR, and physical 3D prints. Additionally, I manage my website, online shop as well as the social media marketing, working across all platforms to bring my vision to life. It's definitely a lot of handwork and dedication but I'm passionate about what I do and enjoy every step of the process. Through my creative work, I hope to spread positive vibes and happiness around the globe.
